Detrick Mortgage Group is an independent mortgage brokerage firm founded in 1994 by Thomas (Northwestern ’57) CalDRE License 01117420 / NMLS 273644, David (USC ’82) CalDRE License 00996941 / NMLS 273650, and Steven (USC ’84) CalDRE License 01174363 / NMLS 273655, father and sons respectively, with over 117 years of experience in the financial field and over $1 Billion in funded loans. A third generation was added in 2018 when David W. Detrick Jr. (CSUF ’16) CalDRE 01985807 / NMLS 1457877 joined the company. Our firm specializes in residential lending (Purchase & Refinance Loans) but has the ability and resources for hard money, major apartment, commercial, and small business loans.

This extensive and diverse stable of wholesale lending partners enables us to locate the best available rates and terms based on the client’s needs for most any 1-4 unit property. Also, we will utilize our contacts and knowledge in searching for the most financially sound program.

THOMAS H. DETRICK
Tom Detrick retired as Southern California CEO of Wells Fargo Bank in 1991 following 29 years of leadership experience with Great American Bank, Northern Trust of Chicago, and Bank One Dayton. Detrick began his career with IBM, whose values of Respect, Service, and Quality provide his base for delivering service excellence. He achieved the Hundred Percent Club in both years as a Data Processing Sales Representative. Detrick received his finance degree from Northwestern University where he was Vice President of the Senior Class and President of Sigma Chi Fraternity. Detrick is a Broker licensed in 1993 by the California Department of Real Estate.

David Sr. prides himself on providing a high level of customer service exemplified by timely communication, work ethic, integrity, and competitive mortgage interest rates and fees.

STEVEN T. DETRICK
Steven is a 1984 graduate of The University of Southern California with a BS in Civil Engineering. He has been a California Real Estate licensee since 1993 and obtained a Broker’s License in 2005. His goal is to be a trusted partner and fiduciary who will fact find, analyze, and advise you of the best available real estate lending options which meet your financial needs.
